Russian Helicopters showcases helicopters for emergency services at IDEX

Russian Helicopters Holding of State Corporation Rostec showcases a lineup of helicopters for effective operations of emergency services at IDEX. The exposition presents the newest version of the firefighting helicopter Ka-32А11М and two Ansats — for ambulance and police purposes. The Holding is also demonstrating Mi-38 in VIP version.

Light multi-purpose Ansat is serially produced by Kazan Helicopter Plant of Russian Helicopters Holding. These machines are well known not only in Russia, but abroad, due to their high efficiency in patients rescue and evacuation activities. The helicopter enjoys the most spacious cabin in its class — allowing for unconstrained operations of medical workers, it can accommodate a full-fledged intensive care module.

Ansats have proved to be reliable, fast, and highly maneuverable. Yet another advantage is their high readiness for takeoff and the ability to land on small unprepared sites, for instance, on roads, as well as operate in urban area. These features make the helicopter attractive for various services, that’s why at IDEX the Holding shows a police version as well.

Ka-32А11М is the cutting-edge version of globally one of the best fire-fighting helicopters. Ka-32 is easy in piloting, highly maneuverable and steady in hovering. The machine is effective in fire-fighting in any climate conditions, it successfully operates in extreme high and low temperatures. Moreover, the helicopter can be employed for horizontal fire extinguishing in high-rises, even in dense urban area, that’s especially relevant for UAE.
