CARACAL, a leading entity under EDGE Group, renowned for its high-performance firearms, is set to make a significant impact at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2024. Marking their 17th appearance, CARACAL will showcase an impressive array of commercial pistols and rifles, alongside premium hunting rifles and exclusive ammunition offerings.
As the Weaponry Sponsor for ADIHEX’s 21st edition, CARACAL will present its comprehensive range of advanced small arms. Highlighting their dedication to innovation and excellence, the exhibit will feature the latest in UAE-made firearms. In addition, CARACAL will present small-caliber ammunition produced by EDGE entity LAHAB LIGHT AMMUNITION, the UAE’s sole ammunition manufacturer. Visitors can also explore a selection of high-end hunting rifles from Merkel, a prestigious German subsidiary of CARACAL known for over a century of expertise in crafting luxury hunting firearms.
Hamad Al Ameri, CEO of CARACAL, emphasized the significance of the event: “Every year, we aim to embrace the spirit of the UAE’s collective heritage and culturally significant history, while showcasing the latest solutions in small arms technology. For the professional shooter, we are returning to the event with a full display of our UAE-made firearms. For the hunting community, we will have world-renowned hunting rifles on show. CARACAL will feature three exclusive Merkel Helix Deluxe VIP hunting rifles, each adorned with unique hand-engraved arabesque motifs. Central to CARACAL’s display will be the “Spirit of the Emirates” pistol, distinguished by a gold-inlaid falcon on its slide, and the “Liwa” pistol, showcasing a gold-inlaid Arabic poem and cultural landmarks in yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum on its grip.
The Merkel lineup will include the Helix Speedster, Helix Black, Helix Noblesse, K5 single-shot rifle, Jaeger bolt-action rifle, and other prestigious models such as the Anschütz hunting rifles and over-and-under-barrelled rifles. Also on display will be various versions of Liwa Arms’ Chayeh Z20 and the new Chayeh Z22 “Saktoon,” alongside CARACAL’s versatile 2011 pistols.
